  23. I'm looking into getting an Alpha based system, but it looks like I won't
  24. have enough cash for that until around the time LW 5.0 ships ( :( ), so
  25. instead I'm looking toward Amiga alternatives.  I've heard a bit about the
  26. 060 boards coming out, but I want to know if they are A2000 compatible. 
  27. For example, I've noticed that no 40 MHz 040s are available for the A2000,
  28. but for the A3000 & A4000.  Is this because of the A2000's 16-bit
  29. architecture?  I figure that this shouldn't matter much since the G-Force
  30. 040 I have now undoubtly outruns the Amiga's motherboard, but has all
  31. speed-reliant stuff on the same card (SCSI-II access, RAM, ect).  So if
  32. anyone knows about 060s for A2000s, please drop a line.  Intel machines
  33. are NOT something I'd like to think about (maybe a nice PowerPC Amiga...?)
